Paoli Law Firm ‘Bags Sand’

To help our fellow Missoulians in unfortunate times, we rallied together Friday morning (5/18/2018) and contributed to the volunteer effort by filling sand bags. Team Rubicon, a veteran-founded disaster relief organization, coordinated the flood response effort in Missoula. They reported over 2,000 volunteers lent a hand to mitigate the damage to flood victims. We’d like to thank the folks at Team Rubicon for coordinating the response, as well as all the thousands of volunteers who spent time helping.

Though the water level of the Clark Fork River is now receding, the flooding emergency is not quite over. Approximately 65 homes in Missoula County remain under evacuation orders. Snowpack levels remain high and current forecasts predict levels on the Clark Fork will rise in the next couple days. The river is expected to crest at 12 feet around Saturday at midnight.

We’re fortunate to be a part of a community so willing to help one another in difficult times. Such a willingness is what binds us together, and keeps our community vibrant and strong.
